Green Planet Group, Inc. (OTC Pink: GNPG) (PINKSHEETS: GNPG) announced today that the Company's corporate offices are being relocated to 1626 West 12th Place Tempe, Arizona, 85281. The building, just east of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, will also house Green Planet's new warehouse and order fulfillment facility. It is anticipated that the move will be completed by April 14. Edmond Lonergan, Green Planet's CEO stated, "This move is a huge step forward for the Company. The office space accommodates our new management team and the new on-site warehouse will improve management, operational and cost efficiencies." Paul Hansen, National Sales Manager for the Company's wholly owned subsidiary XenTx Lubricants Inc., noted, "We can now manage sales, warehouse inventory and fulfill orders for the complete line of XenTx and Synergyn products all from the same location. This new location will facilitate tremendous improvements in customer service and will speed product delivery. We're very excited about this move."
GNPG has also launched an updated website at http://greenplanetgroup.com. Jim Schoenberger, the Company's Vice President, Sales and Marketing, said, "As a part of our ongoing Company reorganization, our business focus has been sharpened allowing us to concentrate on becoming a world leader in green technology. In order to reflect that focus, we took the former website down and have launched a new comprehensive site detailing our operations, our corporate actions and identifying the team responsible for fulfilling our mission. The new website will be updated regularly to provide current news about the Company and our ongoing efforts to improve our planet."
Schoenberger continued, "As a part of the Company's online communication and marketing program, XenTx Lubricants, Inc. has launched a fun to play online fantasy racing game that follows IndyCar racing and its three ladder series for the 2014 season. The 'XenTxSynergyn Road to Indy' game includes 15 rounds of play, one for each of the 15 event weekends in a season that runs through August. Players will select or start at least one driver from each race per event weekend to earn points toward weekly and championship contests. Weekly winners will receive a prize package valued at $50 including XenTx and Synergyn products." The game, created by MotorSportsPromos.com, can be accessed at:http://roadtoindy.fmfl.net
In other news, Green Planet Group has sold its Arizona Independent Power, Inc. (AIP) subsidiary to the original developers of the concept. AIP had been dormant since its acquisition and project feasibility has been compromised by the ongoing severe drought conditions in the American Southwest. Company management determined that AIP no longer fit well within the Company mission and represented a distraction from current initiatives.
