Following a series of successful Bakken Shale Region M&A transactions, most recently the sale of Williston-based clients M&K Hotshot and Trucking and M&K Rig Service to a publicly traded Canadian buyer, Hunter Wise has opened a Calgary office to be closer in proximity to strategic investors and clients. Heading Canadian operations is Jason Orr, who comes to Hunter Wise with a strong background in the energy sector and six years of experience at high growth private and public companies in the oil and gas service industry. Jason's background includes international business development and buy-side work in M&A transactions.
Jason Orr has joined the growing Hunter Wise Energy Banking Group assisting Managing Director, Paul Fejtek, and will focus on oil and gas service transactions in North Dakota and Alberta. With his arrival, two more sell-side clients were engaged in the Bakken, and several more are being pursued.
