About 22,000 utility customers in eastern Pennsylvania still remain in the dark four days after an ice storm knocked down trees and snapped power lines as yet another winter storm blew through the region. "This was a true test of our Guard Lite because there was some concern over how the blades on the wind turbine would perform under intense ice and temperature," stated Frank Pringle, CEO of Liberated Energy, Inc. "We're very happy that, due to the lubricity of the blades, our product continued to provide power and security unhindered by the severe weather."
